Big Bang theory

In 1920s, Cosmologists and astrophysicists came up with a brand new theory on how the sun, planets and the universe were created. This theory is a product of 20th century, which is a work of Albert Einstein through his theory of general relativity.

The universe that we see it today and Allah knows better, if the mathematical equations that we have calculated are correct, the universe must have started in the Big Bang.

In 1960, Steve Hawking and Roger Penrose of U.K. said that everything was smooched together in one super-densed ball of energy that exploded and eventually produced stars, planets and earth.

In Genesis, God created Heaven, then the earth. i.e. everything in pieces.

Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe? (Quran 21:30)

In Arabic, "kanata ratqan fafataqnahuma" means not the gentle tearing apart but a violent, cleavage or ripping apart. Now, when we study big bang, it makes perfect sense.

MALE (voice-over):  Stars and galaxies, planets and life, time and space itself came from a single point. It seams an unlikely proposition. How the universe in all its variety and complexity could have come from one common primal source?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

This is consistent with the Quran.
